Right before Roman was born, Kailey cut her hair and donated it to Locks of Love. She was really proud of herself, heck so was I! Her hair had always been longer, so it was the first time she had above her shoulder hair. It was a bit of a shock, but she is a beautiful kid, so she looked great :D After that, she said she wanted to donate again. So the hair growing began again.
It's been almost 3 years and several trims later, she finally had enough to donate! Man it was so time.....her frustrations with her hair had started to drive me batty. It was to the point where she was asking me to do her hair again LOL Of course I don't mind, but I'm doing GREAT to get my own hair presentable these days hehe
So last night we went to the hair salon and after many "Are you sure?", "Really you want your hair this short?" questions.......the stylist just did it. Put her lovely long locks into a ponytail.....measured the required 10" with her comb......and WHACK! A few minutes later Kailey had a great looking haircut and the stylist did a fab job drying it and styling it. WOW, she looked so much older *sigh* They grow up to fast kids.......

Good job Kailey! You are braver than I am when it comes to the barber shears.... that's why I am 33 and still have hair half way down my back!
Kailey looks wonderful with the short hair cut!! And its so awesome that she donated to locks of love!! Good job girl!
