My first blog post....

So my blog pusher friend Rachel totally twisted my arm to start up a blog. I really enjoy reading her blog, as well as a few others here and there. Out of PURE laziness, I didn't have one of my own!

Well I'm here watching the re-air of Project Runway on a Tuesday night and decided, what the hey.....so here goes!

For those who randomly found my blog HIYA! My name is Kelly. I am a wife and mother of 2 great kids. I'm also 25 weeks pregnant with our third child due in late May. So that is your warning about my scatter brained ramblings. Just in case you read and ever think to yourself, "What the heck is this woman talking about." LOL The emotions and thoughts running through a pregnant lady's brain on a daily basis are about as pure crazy as you can get without being put away in a padded cell. Don't believe me? Ask my husband *wink*

Another thing you should know about me is that I have a horrid and uncontrollable urge to constantly use multiple periods between thoughts in a sentence. I know there is a name for this (............) but alas the pregnancy brain has struck and that proper name has escaped me. If this annoys you, too bad LOL

So I'm sitting here and my dear sweet husband is in the office on the computer. Normally this would not be a problem. Tonight it is. Why, you ask? Well, as most of you know.....tomorrow is Valentines day. So being the tired and over exerted pregnant lady I am......I didn't have a card or small gift for him until I went to Walmart earlier in the evening. So I got him all taken care of......even stopped at the candy store and bought him his fav......chocolate covered pretzels! It's all in the back of my van......in the garage.

On a normal night, when I don't have gifts stashed in the van, my dear husband would have left to visit the two pizza shops we own. That would give me at LEAST 45 mintues minimum to get the gifts in and wrapped. But noooooooooo he hasn't gone tonight. So I'm faced with a delimma. Maybe I could go in there and ask him if he's going to go......but it's almost midnight, so probably not. I could get up early tomorrow and do it......but that won't happen either I'm sure. Being that I am a tired and exerted pregnant woman and all......I like to sleep late. Hmmmm. See I don't think it'd be a big deal really, but I made it seem to him that I already had my gift bought, wrapped and ready to go. I do this as part of my wife quilt quota. You know we have to fill that quota each month and ESPECIALLY at the holidays.

So I'd feel guilty to let him know that I wasn't as prepared and organized as I let on previously. And to top it, when I got home from Walmart......he was here......and there was a gorgeous bouquet of red roses waiting for me on the kitchen table! LMAO

And that is where I'm at.....sitting here watching Project Runway.....at almost midnight......thinking of the gifts I have for my dear husband........sitting in the back of my van.
