They Grow Up So Fast......

Roman's first sleepover, part duex:

OK......so in my previous post I told you about Roman not wanting to sleepover. That was Saturday night. Well......we went over to my brother-in-law's on Tuesday to swim. They have 3 kids too.....ages 10, 13 & 16. Roman and their son Alex, who is 10, get along SO well. Mostly because Alex is at that age where he is a bit grown up, but still likes to play with little boy things. Like trains and guns and cars.....same stuff Roman is in to LOL

So we spent the day there and Alex asked if Roman and Kailey could sleep over. Sure! I don't mind......but I told Alex that I didn't think Roman would stay due to his actions on Saturday LOL
Alex asked Roman and sold him on the idea with promises of staying up late to play Thomas and video games.

We all came to the house here so they could get bags packed. Then I took them all to eat at McDonald's before dropping them off at my brother-in-law's.

I quickly escaped from the house......it was a bit after 9:00pm.

8:00am - the phone rings

My sister-in-law: "Kelly......Roman is up and he is asking to come home."

So Bob gets dressed and heads over to get a VERY sleepy and VERY cranky Roman LOL
Turns out he was up until midnight and then got up a little before 8:00am. Once he came in he then complained that his ear hurt :( I think he might be getting swimmer's ear since he was in the pool so much yesterday. Poor kid!

But he did it! He actually slept over somewhere other than home WITHOUT mommy & daddy!
I guess he is a big boy now LOL
